Depending on your financial situation, you can choose from a variety of study formats and models at IU International University of Applied Sciences, each offering different financing options, scholarships and funding opportunities.
Already completed a degree, training or gained work experience? Have it recognised for your studies and save both time and money – €30 per ECTS credit.

Yes, you can pay your tuition fees in monthly instalments. For more information, please contact our student advisory service.
Tuition fees must be paid for the first time after the end of the withdrawal period. The first instalment of your tuition fees is due on the 25th of the following month if you choose the monthly payment method. If you withdraw from the study contract within the trial month, this period will remain free of charge. The graduation fee must be paid by you on the date of the final exam. This fee is due upon registration for the final exam (colloquium) and must be paid within 14 days.
If you pay your tuition fees in advance, you will benefit from our discounts. Depending on the study model, you will receive a discount of up to 10%.

By having your credits recognised, you can reduce both your study time and your tuition fees. Your previous achievements can really pay off! You’ll save 30 euros per recognised ECTS point. You won’t have to take courses that have already been recognised. You can find more information about the recognition process here.
If you notice during your studies that you need more time, you can extend your studies by up to 12 months or take a semester off - both completely free of charge.
